This video presentation explains the research topic and analysis of the data collected by the survey I conducted to discover students’ preferred online course activities.

Research topic: college students’ perspectives on online class activities

Participants: students from the UMGC and students from the University of Maryland (12 participants)

Stakeholders: faculty members of A university

  2. Multimedia Principle – This video contains infographics, graphs, words, and audios to enhance comprehension.
  3. Redundancy Principle – This video contains graphics, narration and texts.
  4. Coherence principle – The content is short and concise.
  5. Contiguity Principle – The explanation of data point are in close proximity.
  6. Modality Principle – Graphs and narrations are included.
  7. Voice Principle – the voice is friendly and easy to listen.
  8. Segmenting principle – the information is chunked. This way, learners are better able to digest the content.
